	Notes:	College of Charleston students should not apply using the Global PACT online application. Contact Julie Swigert at Study Abroad: swigertj@cofc.edu or 843-953-7823. Non-College of Charleston students who wish to receive credit for the program should also contact Judy Swigert at College of Charleston Study Abroad. Included: two meals daily, housing, local transportation, entrances, medical emergency evacuation, and Global PACT course fees.  Not included: visa, personal basic medical insurance and personal expenses while in country.

How do you confront issues as overwhelming as apartheid and its aftermath, poverty, crime, unemployment, clean water, racism, environmental degradation and AIDS, to name just a few? Which tough choices do you make when investing for the future? 

Global business people, diplomats, aid officials, and employees of international organizations deal with these issues on a daily basis. But where will you get the knowledge, skills and attitudes to take on these issues? By joining Global PACT, you'll discover the fundamentals of social-change start-up and management by beginning a new project in South Africa through a unique partnership with Global PACT and Rhodes University.
